The 21st Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21) will be held in Paris from November 30th to December 11th, 2015. The stated overall goal of the conference is to achieve a new global international agreement in order to stabilize the global warming increase below 2°C.
The pyromaniacs bent on destroying our world will be pleased to come to the rescue like firefighters dousing the fires that they themselves lit up. Who's financing this masquerade? Renaud Nissan, Suez, IKEA, Michelin, BNP Paribas, Caisse Centrale de Réassurance, L'Oréal, Orange, Fédération Bancaire Française, Association Française des banques, Air France...
Why so many banks in this list? Perhaps it's in their interest to collect more money by playing Russian roulette with our lives, like pyromaniacs-firefighters, through a carbon market scheme (pay to pollute) that only legitimizes the current all-you-can-pollute buffet that completely fails to actually restrict corporate pollution. This has been going on since and despite the adoption of the Kyoto Protocol in 1997.
The petty firefighter-nation-states have more pressing needs: to place multinational corporations above the needs of the people (i.e. exploitation of the tar sands in Canada), to extinguish the ancestral rights of the aboriginal people (all the better to steal the land and the resources), to destroy small enterprises that do not fit their world view and that cannot afford to pay the carbon tax and most of all to never deviate from the mantra of infinite economic growth, so dear to green capitalism and its greenwashing!
In short we need to eradicate capitalism in order to prevent the ongoing global environmental destruction. We can't just continue watching by as the situation deteriorates and power continues to concentrate in the stock exchange and the international institutions which tighten globalisation, like the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the UN.
The Europeans are coming together: NGOs, unions and other agents for change are preparing for actions during the whole length of the summit to protest the problems created and perpetuated all across the world by those pyromaniacs-firefighters whose solutions are more of the same environmental destructions. Our solution is to get rid of them, their false solutions and their destructive powers everywhere!
On December 4th we will come together in solidarity with our comrades in Paris to resist this treachery!
